About
What SowMate is, and where it stands
SowMate is a student and founder community, a social-impact incubator and a sustainable agriculture initiative, based in Bengaluru.
What we do
SowMate runs free tech events inside colleges. Students host them on their own campus; SowMate brings the speaker and the session. Around those events we are building a community of students, teachers, founders and mentors.
Three strands
- Student tech community. Campus chapters, events and a network of students and faculty.
- Social-impact incubator. Students and first-time founders present ideas, get feedback and meet mentors and partners.
- Sustainable agriculture. SowMate is also a sustainable agriculture initiative. Details of this work will be published here as it progresses.
Where it stands
SowMate is an initiative in its early stage. It is not yet a registered entity. Registration details, the people responsible and reports on our work will be published on this site once they exist. Until then, this site describes only what is planned or confirmed, without numbers we cannot back up.
Founder
SowMate was founded by Sanjay S, an educator and founder based in Bengaluru.
